Summer’s Best: Fishing

Fishing has become a favorite family activity this summer.  We’re fortunate to have many little lakes within minutes from our home and are able to go first thing in the morning or after dinner for an hour or so.  We all love it!  Although, I have to admit this city girl still doesn’t like touching the worms.  I’m working on it.

And, yes, those are cowboy hats turned into sun hats.

Right now.

Ali did a quick post this morning on her “right now.”  I thought I’d play along.

I found Jack outside with the remains of our first strawberry of the season.  “It was so yummy!”

Our trip to San Antonio was great.  We got back on Friday and have been busy with sick kids, doctor’s appointments, laundry, weeding and other yard work.  But, I’m hoping to get a post up with details.   I also have a few pictures to share, but not many.  I just didn’t keep my camera with me like I normally do.  And, I’m fine with that.  Sometimes it’s nice to just enjoy the moments.

I’m also planning on starting a photo series, Summer’s Best.

Hopefully, by the end of the week I’ll be all caught up and back in the swing of things.
