Not only have we been married for 10 years but we've been "together" for 15. I hate the term "together" but all that is included in that term is huge for us. J was deployed more during that time than he was home in ID. I was in college which, when your honest, offers many relational distractions. Oh, and we were 17-22 and 18-23. Huge.
Then we married. We moved to Guam, then Turkey, then Texas and Colorad0. Three are very different countries/territories and a state. Yes, I know, Texas is technically a state but if you've ever lived there you know what I'm talking about. 🙂
We had kids. Three. In three years.
One, the first, gave us a pretty good scare with some medical issues. (Though you never would have known if you didn't look at his blood. )
We've had lots of travel for both work and pleasure. Road trips home and trips abroad. Time together and time apart.
There has been the deaths of grandparents and friends.
And more celebrations than I can count.
And, I'd do it all again.
In an instant.
